Daedelus Leaks a Track Off His Upcoming Album Bespoke
There’s a new Daedelus album on the way, and we’ve recently gotten lots of little hints as to what it will be like. Bespoke is tailor-themed, falling in with the LA producer’s deep-seeded love of fine men’s formal attire.
He’s touring worldwide for it with support from TOKiMONSTA, who also remixed one of his tracks. Today we get a track right off the album.
“Overwhelmed” features vocals from Bilal, a neo-soul singer who we’re more used to seeing on tracks with Common, Ghostface, and even Beyonce.
The track is definitely not something you’d hear from any of those artists. It’s undeniable Daedelus.
Lots of synth noise, lots of drum rolls, and just a little bit of tambourine comprise a beat for Bilal, who sounds like Thom Yorke on this one, and I’m not just saying that. The song even sounds kind of Radiohead-y.
