Canada's HotKid Release Seizure Inducing Video for "Yours and Mine"

Ontario’s HotKid have been around since 2005, but the two piece recently replaced half its personnel and dropped a video that’s not nearly as garage as their sound. Director Alon Isocianu took a simple number called “Yours and Mine” and turned it into a choppy spaz-fest set in a stark white room. In flashes, an assortment of hipsters showcase their single best dance moves as the band members grow extra limbs, teleport from stage left to stage right, and perform a number of other tricks that you should see for yourself.

Do keep in mind that if you suffer from epilepsy, this is one to skip. Just the first few seconds are enough to give the non-epileptic the spins. The visuals complement the rush rush feel of the song and there are more than a couple of stand out moments. Skip to the 1:52 to see drummer Rob Butcher III pull a Dhalsim hi-hat move.

“Yours and Mine” came out in conjunction with the band’s video for “Fake It”, which is the polar opposite of super-energetic-fast-paced, depicting the band standing in front of a pond for three…long…minutes.
